Is kava alcoholic?

No. Kava contains zero alcohol. The active compounds are kavalactones, which produce a relaxed, calm, and social feeling without the impairment, hangover, or addiction risk of alcohol. The Spot is a fully alcohol-free bar, kava is the centerpiece of our drink menu.

Are your mocktails sweetened?

Most of our mocktails use fresh fruit juice, simple syrup made in-house, or natural sweeteners. We balance sweetness so the drink tastes like a cocktail, not a soda. If you prefer less sweet, ask the kavatender to dial it back, every drink is built to spec at the bar.

Do you serve coffee?

Yes. We pour locally-roasted drip coffee, espresso (single or double), and signature coffee drinks named after Nashua landmarks. Coffee is on the menu from open until last call, every day we are open.

What is the difference between kava and kratom?

Kava is a root from the South Pacific (Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu) brewed as a tea. Kratom is a leaf from Southeast Asia. They are different plants with different effects. At The Spot, the kavatenders walk first-timers through which one fits the night they want.

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome any time we are open. For groups of 10 or more, or for private event bookings, reach out ahead at (603) 718-4732 so we can hold space for you.

Do you offer takeout or delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can order The Spot for delivery through DoorDash, or stop in for takeout at the bar. Most drinks travel well, kava and mocktails are best within an hour of pour.

How much does a kava drink cost?

Our 4oz kava shell is our intro pour. The 6oz shell is our standard, what most regulars order. Mocktails are priced as one tier across the menu. The full menu with current prices is on this page.

Are you open Sundays?

We are open Monday through Thursday 3 PM to 11 PM, and Friday and Saturday 3 PM to 1 AM. Closed Sundays. For private event bookings on closed days, call (603) 718-4732.
